Anyone organising mass order for the LTE model to save on shipping? No point shipping individually like the Wifi version since we can't siam GST anyway.

For those who are wondering if the US N7 LTE will work in Singapore, the answer is definitely yes.

Singapore uses LTE Band 3 and 7. The US version supports 1,2,3,4,5,13,17.

Performance will be similar to the Iphone 5 (LTE Bands 1,3,5 only), and the current iPads (Bands 1,3,5,13,25).

The non-US version however supports LTE Bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,20. This means you'll have better LTE coverage here.

In the event LTE isn't available, it will simply fall back to 3G HSDPA+, which really is good enough for most.

IMO, band 7 is used in more places (EU, AU, and a number of countries in Asia (SG, HK, MY, KR, and VN), than 13 and 17 (mostly US only). It really depends if you travel often, and make it a point to data roam and/or buy a local data SIM when you do.

The bands that you listed are on the official Google Nexus 7 page but the bands listed on the Google Play Store are different. So which is correct?

A noob question here.

Understand that there is no expansion slot on Nexus 7, is there a way that we can direct connect a ext HDD to it? And, moving data that we want in the ext HDD into Nexus 7, done directly on Nexus 7 itself? I do not want everytime moving data I have to connect both to a PC then drag and drop......

Interesting - hadn't noticed that. I'm inclined to believe the specs on the Play store are incorrect. They're currently the same as the original Google Nexus 7 page before it was corrected. I'm guessing they didn't previously notice this page needed to be updated too.

I'm inclined to believe Asus, the actual manufacturer, has a good idea of the specs of their unit.
