Hard to say. It really all depends on how the vendor packs the item because shippers charges either physical or volumetric weight (whichever is higher).

I actually doubt this happened - Google is rather famous for not having any live person you can actually speak to.

What number did you call, and where did you find it?

I was looking at the LTE support and I am really not sure how it actually works. It seems that although all three Telco here supports 1800 Mhz Band 3, M1 and Singtel also supports 2600 Mhz Band 7. Do you need to have the Google Nexus 7 LTE support both bands or any one would do ?

Just 1 would do, if I'm not wrong, our local iPhone 5 only supports 1800mhz too.

So if you're happy with LTE coverage on an iPhone 5, you should be ok with the US Nexus 7 LTE.
