Looks like the guy from iparcel who said 22nd Dec then reach sg is speaking the truth??? Utterly outrageous delay!! Can everyone start bombing iparcel/Amazon to push things? I already e-mailed both... Grrr

It's not amazon's fault. I would put it down to iparcel and speedpost inefficiency.

Everyone wants their nexus fast, esp since we know it's alr in SG. But if it's still before the estimated date given by amazon then ultimately we can't complain because they are not wrong.

That's precisely why we complaining. The estimated delivery date is 13th Dec. If it arrives after 22nd, then it will have taken almost twice as long from the day we ordered!

Just spoken to Amazon CSA. My N7 shipment that was shipped out on 6 Dec and supposed to arrive on 13 Dec is confirmed as "lost in Transit" and they can only offer full refund.

Sigh...

2) And can anyone confirm, once and for all, 32GB LTE (US version) can work on local LTE networks? I read so many pages and posts until I blur already.


Went to a few local retail stores today. Apparently, local sets at the moment, only have 16GB LTE, yes? And RRP is S$529?

Sorry ah, this will be my 1st tablet purchase, so please pardon the blurness. Thanks.

Why did iparcel suddenly update all delayed parcels to airline delay at the same time??? too many complaints about missing update? so they just anyhow put one? never heard of airline can be delayed by 10 days since export.......

I am using a local 32gb LTE set now.

- From what I know, all LTE sets only come with 32gb storage, not 16 gb. prices are at $529 at most local retail places.

- And Yes, US LTE ver does work in SG but the LTE connection will not be as good as local sets or non-US sets because...

...
LTE in Singapore uses bands 3 and 7. The US Nexus 7 LTE sets support band 3, but not 7. It will work fine, but you'll generally have poorer LTE coverage here. In areas with only Band 7 coverage, your tablet will fall back to 3G instead. If you would like better LTE coverage, your only option would be to sell your tablet, and buy a non-US version instead.
