# Open a command prompt window (Start > Run > cmd.exe).
# Change to the tools directory within your Android SDK folder by using the following command (without the quotes and replacing *YOUR SDK* with the path to your Android SDK folder) ‘cd c:\*YOUR SDK*\tools’.

means change the tools name to ''YOUR SDK''?

using this guide.. (Part 2 new)

http://completeandroid.wordpress.com...g-the-nexus-s/

Im stuck here. I duno wats this man.. i change the tools to "YOUR SDK" and type cd c:\*YOUR SDK*\tools nth happens..

Wat does it actually mean.. within the SDK folder change the SDK to YOUR SDK? Programs file > Android > Android SDK > Tools to Programs file > Android > Android SDK > YOUR SDK

See the pic below.. is it rename that circle one to "YOUR SDK"

it's just asking u to change directory to the tools directory.. nothing to change.. lol.. just put the sdk folder in C drive then "cd" into tools directory..

then continue.. lol

Please take note on the SDK folder name changed. on new SDK..it is parked under
....\platform\tools...

Old SDK,...\tools

If you know the concept of DOS PATH commands.

Add the tools path into your system environment variable..this way..you can issue DOS commands anywhere..

Go Control Panel\System\Advance tab
Select "Environment Variables"
Under "Path"

Add the new path into your Environment variables

ADB is here.
..\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools

Fastboot.exe is ..
..\android-sdk-windows\tools

I would suggest copy fastboot.exe into ADB directory for easy access.

I am now with my phone can't list what to pay attention for during the unwipe root.
Most people get stuck with
1. fastboot driver, the Google driver only worked for adb but not fastbboot

2.before applying superuset.zip from system mounting is required.

@hardwarezone just tweeted
We've had word from a reliable source that SingTel is probably bringing in the Google Nexus S soon. Will you be interested in getting one yourself?

Having Gingerbread is not as excited as i thought...Google is too busy with Honeycomb and after Gingerbread 2.3.2 release..it still contains irritating bugs..and didnt hear them quoting anything further.

My stock launcher is crashing frequently...try doing keyboard switching (between stock and Google Pinyin) under google search, Trillian ,launcher will crash the stock launcher..what is fortunate is after crashing..launcher will relaunch itself..the irritating part is 10 sec of blackout period..

The symptom is Force close on one of the keyboard, force close it..will follow by launcher not responding and asking to close launcher..

Trying to use smartkeyboard to avoid the problem however i dont get used to no auto spacing after word selection..

Seriously, Gingerbread IS a rushed out product.

There's a reason why Nexus One isn't getting it yet. Because it's unfinished.

Let's hope they merge the goodies of Honeycomb into Gingerbread v2/Ice Cream
