Manual, u download the file and copy to ur SDCARD folder, then use the original bootloader to update only. if something is wrong, the phone will stop the update and it will be back to your old phone.

Extra 2 step for manual.


Actually I heard 2.3.1 is the best and most stable.

How do we get the original bootloader back?

I can't update to 2.3.3 manually.. got error..

One bro bought his export to Samsung service center and they service the phone.shouldn't be a problem.

Anyway, those export set comes with super amoled. Price not much difference for export and local.

Besides the LCD, the rest are the same.....no surprises..


If the phone already preloaded with 2.3.3..the users will be happy as most irritating bugs have been fixed. When Nexus S first launch with 2.3.0..the experience was quite bad


Is Nexus S available to Hong Kong by Samsung ? I am quite surprise that Samsung choose to launch Nexus S over at Singapore..

Besides Singtel putting slightly more details on the spec..M1/Starhub ADV didnt mention much on the spec .
