Besides the LCD, the rest are the same.....no surprises..

If the phone already preloaded with 2.3.3..the users will be happy as most irritating bugs have been fixed. When Nexus S first launch with 2.3.0..the experience was quite bad

Is Nexus S available to Hong Kong by Samsung ? I am quite surprise that Samsung choose to launch Nexus S over at Singapore..

Besides Singtel putting slightly more details on the spec..M1/Starhub ADV didnt mention much on the spec .

I think local set should be 2.3.3. Can do manual update even if it's not.

Don't know how much difference between LCD and AMOLED. Anyone knows where I can try out a demo set?

Hey guys, Im interested in getting the Nexus S, but I want the S-AMOLED one. Which set is sgbest selling? S-AMOLED or SC-LCD? Description says S-AMOLED, but lots of website quoted wrongly. Email them and got no response..anybody bought from them?
I checked sgbest.com quote "Super AMOLED version Only, (not SLCD version)

This or Galaxy S II?

Specs wise is S2, but what's stopping me is not being able receive future upgrades. Like imagine in 1 years time, Nexus S able to upgrade to newer os but Samsung has already stop supporting the S2 os.

Must I really be particular about this?

Well, you can think the other way that if you are rooted, you are also able to download future os based roms for your S2.

If u care, then don't use a Samsung non-Google official phone.

Use HTC models, they are much easier for devs to port new OS releases to.

S-AMOLED or S-LCD / Gingerbread version

Got one set from HK. How can I tell for sure what screen my set has ?

Also I notice my OS version is 2.3.2. Those just launched in Singapore have 2.3.3. What is the difference between the two versions?

I try hitting upgrade OS, but it says I already have the most up-to-date version.

See your serial number. If its i9020, its a samoled screen. If its i9023 its slcd.
