what kind of gaps?Had bad experience ith G1 so not familiar with Android.
I move app-icons between pages and some times it leaves gaps between the icons. Is there any way to rearrange the icons arrange to fill up the gaps?

what kind of gaps?
by default, the launcher can only hold 4 icons per row.
u can use a 3rd party launcher (adw, go launcher, launcherpro) to add more columns
per row so it'll fill more space.
if thats what u are referring to
Nope...there's not autofit on the homescreen.what I meant was when I move the 3 icon to another screen, the 4th icon doesnt automatically take over the 3rd icon's position. Instead, there is a space between the 2nd and 4th icon.
Is there anyway make icons shift automatically to the next empty position?

U'll have to move it urself![]()

Actually depending on which launcher u use, some do have that function. iirc the Samsung touchwiz launcher will do that in the app drawer, but iirc none of them do it on the homescreens.Understood. I was from 'the other platform'...had enuf!![]()
