cant update on my Nexus S SL (i9023)... maybe the rom only for i9020?


Updated --- Just found the answer... the firmware only for galaxy nexus s with build number GRI40 not GRI54

charging battery now..will update later..I have rooted 2.3.3 ..hopefully i can install CWM recovery from rom manager and update from there..

LOL! dont!! the anti fingerprint coating will come off after awhile.. then will be very ugly.. =/

Did a manual update from 2.3.3(Rooted but locked bootloader) to 2.3.4 via ROMManager..

Applying same trick..conduct update with CWM recovery..after update without rebooting..do a system mounting then apply SuperUser.zip update..voila root retained.


Just a quick observation

1) Gtalk with Video chat...cool..eventually native video chat app..
2) Camera app..can select front facing camera..
3) browser loading heavy graphics seem faster

The version 2.3.4 seems very battery efficient, I still have 38% battery after 33 hours

Under same usage pattern..,usually(2.3.3) my phone will be flat in 24-30 hrs...

Just traded my handset to a Nexus S. Anyone know of a good screen protector that will align to the whole screen properly? Currently my top and bottom edges have bubbles as it cannot be lay flat on the surface totally, is this a limitation of the contour screen?

Or anyone has luck with a perfect application and able to show a picture of their phone here to share? Thanks in advance.
