Anybody think this phone price will drop? Telco's still selling for 398 with smartsurf 100 plan (starhub) which is very expensive.

Wanted a solid phone and was planning to get incredible S but heard got lotsa problem but nexus S also so ex

The pricing in Singapore for Nexus S is a bit screwed up to say the least.

A quick check on Singtelshop.com, on the same plan,

LG O2X $318
Moto Atrix $448
Nexus S $498
HTC Sensation $548

And it isn't even S-AMOLED...

what problem is there with the Nexus S ??
if u are talking about hardware issue, thats probably lemon sets..
on the software side, if u know what u are doing, there shouldnt be any problems.

Am very "proud" that the price is still so solid after so many new, powerful phones are launched


edit: ah my bad, after re-reading ur post. i realise i made a mistake, u were complaining problem with the incredible S. my cousin has been using it for bout 2 months now i believe, but hasnt heard any complains from him hehe..

casing i think most will fit. but not perfectly only..
if u dun mind spending more, try the rearth one.
or u can look at the momax one (read on xda it can fit the i9023 nicely)

using the rearth one, adds about 2.5mm bulk bah..
currently free shipping no? (ah u need over $50 for free international shipping)

Hi, I just got a Nexus S and I have a couple of question to ask you guys...

- What is the model type of S-Lcd Nexus s? 9023 or 9020?
- Root = void warranty?
- If I root can I still recieve OTA updates? Can I update from it after I root?
- If I do a OTA update would I lose my root?
- Should I root in 2.3.4 or 2.3.3?
- Can I root without unlocking bootloader in 2.3.4 or 2.3.3?
