my battery easily last 16 hrs with 30% remaining leh :/

Good..after i turn off the exchange email service..it seems to perform better..at least now can survive for the daily used between 20-24 hours..Highest i ever achieved was 32 hours with 10 hours deep sleep inactive period.

Whatever it is ..it is definitely consuming more power..I like the Voice typing keyboard..i am speaking Cantonese dialect (modern spoken form) to it..yet it picks up correctly most of the time..friends on facebook wonder why my Cantonese wording input improved so much and typing so fast.

Tried Malay voice keyboard..somehow it performed badly..guessed this needs Indonesian accent to get it to work well

The GB voice input is single session..now you can complete sentence by sentence till you want to exit .

how to setup Voice typing for Cantonese ah????

Under Language & Input
Select Google Voice Typing, disable Auto and manually select the available spoken languages that you wanna use.

On any text input field..press the mic icon on ICS Keyboard..then switch to your preferred spoken language..the Google VOice input will come out..you can speak all the sentences that you like..when done..just click the Done button to exit or press back to revert.

You can't unless u change launcher.

previously I used Launcher pro but now I kinda of like ICS stock launcher.

but it has its disadvantage. if you disable the google search, then there will be a space which you can't use. Not only that, you also can't use the capacitive search button. urgh!!!!

so in the end, I use stock launcher and enable the google search.

You can always flash CM9, there is an option to remove it. Currently CM9 alpha 18 is still very stock, there isn't much changes as they are building CM9 slowly .

are you still able to use the capacitive search button if you remove the search bar in CM9 like you said.
