This is your first look at the official renders for the Google Pixel 10, which Google has confirmed will be announced on August 20.

The Google Pixel 10 colors will include Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello. The Obsidian is obviously Google’s black color, which they’ve offered for many years now. While the Indigo is a real royal blue, a bit lighter than the blue shadow on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Frost is a much lighter blue, almost like the iPhone 15 from a couple of years ago, and finally, the Limoncello is a yellow-green color.

These are all pretty bright colors, and an interesting color palette for Google, even on its base model. Especially since the Porcelain color is missing from the base Pixel 10, now.

The biggest change, is the camera bar

This year, the biggest change on the Google Pixel 10 is actually going to be in the camera bar. It’s not actually a larger camera bar; however, the glass on the camera bar is now larger. This is due to Google adding a third camera to the Pixel 10 – finally adding that telephoto camera.

As we’ve already reported on, all Google Pixel 10 camera sensors are going to be smaller this year. This is likely to help differentiate the Pixel 10 from the Pixel 10 Pro models, since there’s no reason why the Pixel 10 can’t have the exact same sensors as the “Pro” models.

exclusive google pixel 9 vs pixel 10 renders AH

The primary sensor will be a 48-megapixel sensor, with a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor. These sensors come from the Pixel 9a, and the telephoto comes from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Obviously, the Google Pixel 10 specs look like a pretty huge downgrade. But an important thing to remember is Google’s computational photography. It works better on these smaller sensors, versus the larger ones we have on the “Pro” models. This is a big reason why the Pixel a-series typically wins the blind smartphone camera tests every single year.

The Google Pixel 10 release date is set for August 20, with pre-orders opening that same day. Devices are set to start shipping on August 28.

Prefer Samsung's deeper blue, hopefully in reality it will look good too.

Google has revealed official renders of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro XL, confirming it will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade—just like the Pixel 10 Pro. The standout change this year is the massive 5,200mAh battery, the largest ever in a Pixel and second-largest in a U.S. flagship phone.

The Google Pixel 10 series launch is just around the corner, and today we’re able to share with you the official renders of the Pixel 10 Pro XL. We’ve already shared the renders for the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro.

Like the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will also be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Jade, and Moonstone colors. The Jade color is more of a soft pistachio green color with a muted gold frame. It’s actually a pretty good-looking combination of colors. The Moonstone is a slate blue with some gray in the color. It’s a pretty nice-looking color, though the Pixel 10 has better-looking blue colors in the Indigo and Frost colorways.

Of course, the Obsidian color is Google’s black option, with Porcelain being the white option.

Pixel 10 Pro XL will sport the largest battery ever in a Pixel

Internally, the specs on the Pixel 10 Pro XL are basically the same as the Pixel 9 Pro XL, but there’s one spec that is getting a pretty big upgrade. That’s the battery. Google will use a 5,200mAh capacity battery in the Pixel 10 Pro XL, making it the largest battery ever used in a Pixel device. That’s quite large, and pretty nice to see on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. That also makes it the second-largest battery in a flagship smartphone sold in the US, behind the OnePlus 13.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL will get the new TSMC-manufactured Tensor G5 processor. This is a new 3nm processor from Google, and it will be paired with 16GB of RAM. It’ll start at 256GB of storage, with options for 512GB and 1TB of storage. Just like Apple did with the iPhone 15 Pro Max a couple of years ago, Google is opting to ditch the 128GB of storage model as a way to raise prices, while technically keeping prices the same.

Let's hope they don't make it that some colour options are locked to a specific storage size
