seems like a dumb way to dissuade buyers, bait with the main phone and give out credit then cancel orders made with credits?

For me the case is fine cause I don't drop my phone and the phone is already thick and heavy, I don't want to add more bulk and weight.

I don't like case with hinge protection

i seem to recalll everytime i do update... a while later... my fold9 screen will go haywire... hahahaha ... i hope not this time
