Early Geekbench 6 results suggest the Pixel 10 Pro isn’t cut out for mobile gaming. The low scores could be due to a potential driver issue with the GPU, which means it’s possible that this is fixable.

Mobile gaming isn’t generally a focus of Pixel devices like the Pixel 10 Pro, although you’d expect it wouldn’t be an issue with how high the price tag is. That being said, Pixel devices have never really been about mobile gaming. Even though they can be kind of expensive, that cost has always been about a premium build and AI processing power, as well as one of the market’s best phone camera experiences.

Regardless, you can still play mobile games on a Pixel phone. Just not with the highest settings. This is because the Tensor chips just aren’t designed to provide great gaming performance. The Pixel 10 Pro appears to be a very good example of just how bad for gaming Google’s latest devices are.

Google’s Pixel 10 Pro won’t be good for gaming, based on data from a benchmark

If you were hoping the Pixel 10 Pro would be a decent phone for gaming, you might be disappointed. A user on X named Iniysa recently shared screenshots of the Pixel 10 Pro Geekbench 6 benchmark results. Spoiler alert, it isn’t good. The phone comes in with surprisingly low Vulkan scores. What’s more, is that the scores are lower than what the Pixel 9 Pro got in the same benchmark.

This could suggest that the phone isn’t going to be good for mobile gaming. And that would be a shame given its cost. That is to say, if you’re into mobile gaming in the first place. Because if the phone doesn’t perform well, then you’d have to consider buying a device just for mobile games.

Luckily, there may be a reason for these low scores, and it could be fixed. In the comments on Iniysa’s post, another user points out that the GPU frequency is too low in the OpenCL bench results. Noting that there is something wrong with the GPU driver. If this is the case, then a patch could be put out to potentially fix the issue, and benchmark scores could improve. Of course, this is all in theory. It won’t be clear until games are tested and a patch is put out. If this doesn’t deter you, then you can pre-order the Pixel 10 Pro now, and the phone launches next week on August 28.

At most chincai buy a p10a and resell also 100-200 profit.

But again really not worth the trouble....kan ma fan.

Most people who google store credit here truely have a pixel in our heart and hope we can go back one day....hahahahaha
Yes it's the "not worth the effort" part.

After reading the statement again, seems that all will have the case. Only the wireless charger is for 1TB. Should be as per the Fairprice promo, since also from Singtel

Redemption details for the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL Case and Google Qi2 Wireless Charger (For Google Pixel 10 Pro XL 1TB) will be sent within 4-6 weeks after the phone has been successfully delivered. While stocks last
