The Google Pixel 10 series is set to be made official next month at a Made by Google event, and that includes the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Now we can share with you the official specs for the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which do have a few surprises included.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold cover display is going to increase from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches this year. That should result in a similarly sized inner display, due to Google reducing the cover display’s bezel and the hinge. The cover display is also getting a brightness boost to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. That’s a 10% increase over the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The cameras are mostly staying the same this year, with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold sporting a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera. It will also use 10-megapixel selfie cameras on both displays.



Google to use the largest foldable battery without Silicon-carbon​

Google is surprisingly, the one pushing battery tech here in the US lately, while not adopting silicon-carbon, at least not yet. The Pixel 9a had a massive 5,100mAh capacity battery when it debuted earlier this year. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is also slated to have a pretty large 5,200mAh battery, as we’ve reported, and now the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is going to have a massive 5,015mAh capacity battery.

This would give the Pixel 10 Pro Fold a 7% larger battery over its predecessor, and when we compare it to the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, we’re looking at a massive 9% larger battery, in a device that should be about the same physical size.

Internally, we’re also looking at the 3nm Tensor G5 processor, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. The 1TB storage option is going to be new for this year, as previous years Google only offered 256GB and 512GB for its foldable.

Finally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the first foldable to have an IP68 rating. That means that it is would be almost entirely dust and water resistant. A pretty big upgrade from the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Motorola Razr Ultra which are both IP48.

looks good, but for hardware, it might be hard rival the Chinese brands and Samsung.

I haven't tried pixel before, but the front screen rounded corners is a bit of turn off.

If they really make it IP68 then i feel like it will be a game changer

Three Google Pixel 10 series phones have been certified in more than one place. The Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL have popped up on both FCC and IMDA.

Three Google Pixel 10 phones have passed certification checkpoints​

All three phones are expected to become official on August 20, alongside the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. So, it’s not surprising that we’re seeing certifications all over the place at this point. The event is around a month away.

GK2MP, GL066, and GLBW0 models popped up on the FCC. While neither is specifically named the Pixel 10, the GL066 and GLBW0 model numbers do belong to the vanilla Pixel 10. The GK2MP is likely associated with those phones, too. The FCC even hints that the GK2MP model could support satellite connectivity.

A handful of Pixel 10 Pro models also appeared​

The Pixel 10 Pro, on the other hand, also popped up with model numbers GEHN3, GN4F5, and G4QUR. A couple of additional model numbers surfaced, and all of those seem to be related to the Pixel 10 Pro, based on reports. The GEHN3 and G4QUR could support satellite connectivity.

And finally, the Pixel 10 Pro XL. GUL82 model number surfaced, alongside some others, and all those seem to be related to the Pixel 10 Pro XL handset. The G45RY model number will support satellite connectivity, based on what is said.

As far as Singapore’s IMDA certification is concerned, the Pixel 10 (GK2MP), Pixel 10 Pro (GEHN3), and Pixel 10 Pro XL (G45RY) were spotted.

A ton of information surfaced on all of these phones​

We’re still a month away from the launch event, but we know a lot about those phones. We’ve exclusively shared all the Google Pixel 10 specs, the same goes for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL specs. We’ve also shared the Google Pixel 10 release date, and a lot more info.
