I've updated and.... dunno leh, before May 2026 patch, i did not encounter battery drain like those mentioned on Reddit. HOWEVER.... i did encounter one instance of.... taking screenshot, and then want to forward to my friend on whatsapp. before i hit send, the phone just went black and power cut. I had more than 60% battery left when this happened.

no, did not happen again.

And the screenshot was also gone in the process. Heng it was nothing important.

Google at it once again. even a17 b1 had this problem, but it was resolved in a17 b2. so likely a16 stable ran into the same issue
