So, yesterday, after trying for a few hours with no luck, I just did a backup and undo, and then I gave it a shot on Google Messenger. And guess what? The writing tool just magically popped up!.

The only downside is matte is more slippery than shiny. But I think matte looks nicer too.

I personally think the colour variants this year for both the Pro and Non-Pro series are the best in don’t know how many years. Very difficult to choose the most favourite colour. Haha.

Not factory reset.
In the full Services menu, there is backup option that allow 'undo' of backup.

Google quietly backup my phone to Google drive, caused it to exceed 15GB limit, I just did the reverse to undo the backup.

Web version of Face recognition by Singpass running on chrome browser - camera face capture from single/ large screen both give images can't be processed by Singpass with error of [too bright], [something wrong].
The error was triggered while doing mobile key setup on Standard chartered phone app.

Eventually bank help to bypass face recognition step.

It was strange that Singpass app is properly setup, it went through old phone verification as well as face recognition.

Tested their camera yesterday, it's overly AI enhancement focus, many shots on their tele are either a hit or miss. Doesn't look natural when you view it at 100%. It does look good on small screen. Definitely will have fans and anti fans on this. Having used vivo humanistic mode, the pixel 11 photos looks crap to me. However I do like how the camera bump looks now, feels more published, more pro and less kiddy lol.

3 days usage quick usage feedback
The AI feature is really standouts.

The rambler voice typing is fun to use, it supports mixed languages input naturally.

I mixed English with Cantonese ( non formal style) input. It captured the message properly.

Gemini live chat response was slower (2-3 seconds) paused compared to my car- Grok with instant response.

Other feedbacks.
1. Fingerprint response on button is quicker than Pixel 10 Pro XL on screen.

2. Screen seems sharper than Pixel 10 Pro XL.

3. Weight is not much higher than Pixel 10 Pro XL.

4. Unfolded Big screen usage.
Useful during idle, not hurry time.
Browsing forums - freaking good.
YouTube watching, hand free
Split screen Dual apps running,

Didn't test the camera much.

So far so good, no bad impression that would lead me to change back to my Pixel 10 Pro XL.
