A new Google phone just rolled through the FCC today, a device that we believe to be the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. For now, this is the only new Pixel 11 phone to arrive at the FCC as we close in on the Made by Google event scheduled for August 12.

The device showed up at the FCC under the model number GZDQ6. This is a previously reported-on model number that was attached to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The FCC listing calls this a “phone” and it has all of the proper connectivity you expect from a modern day smartphone. The table below shows proper 5G band support, including 5G mmW. We can also see satellite connectivity, NFC, UWB, Thread, and wireless charging.

The documents state in several places that the device was tested in both “Open mode” and “Closed mode,” which would make sense as a foldable. The FCC needs to test frequencies and gain with the device in both scenarios. In one example, a volume control test says, “The device supports both closed-mode and open-mode user scenarios during voice calls.” Yep, this is a foldable.

There isn’t much else to learn. I’d imagine the other Pixel 11 series devices will show up shortly.

With the launch event one month away, Pixel 11 leaks are picking up, and we now have a look at the “Pine” color for the 11 Pro Fold.

Mystic Leaks today shared an official-looking render of the back of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. This is the “Pine” color that had previously leaked out in name only. It’s a darker green, but pretty light in the grand scheme. This should be the same shade that’s also used on the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL.

It’s paired with a light gold frame and ‘G’ logo. The back of the phone is nearly identical to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Fold is once again using a satin frame, but expect it to be shiny and glossy on the other Pro models.

The other interesting part of this Pixel 11 Pro Fold leak is the camera bar. It’s slightly narrower than last year’s model, while the camera cutouts extend all the way to the edge with no excess metal. The main and ultrawide cameras are at the bottom with the autofocus sensor (which was previously positioned above). At the top-right, we get the telephoto lens.

10 vs. 11 Pro Fold​

In the top-left, you see the camera flash, and there’s something strange about it to my eye. It is much larger than last year’s and almost the size of a camera lens.

Could Pixel Glow be built into the camera flash? Some have speculated that the rumored light indicator would run around the perimeter of the camera bar, but I don’t see where it would fit.

Google’s Pixel 11 series is almost exactly a month from its official launch and, ahead of that, an early trio of Amazon listings appears to show off the base model in three colorways.

Thanks to the diligence of our colleagues at 9to5Toys, we’ve been able to view three listings that appear to be placeholders and/or drafts that were published early, with official images in tow. At least, that’s what we’re pretty sure is happening here. These listings are sold and shipped by Amazon and show as part of the “Google Store” on the platform.

But, given Amazon is a platform full of third-party sellers, it’s worth taking this with a big grain of salt.

That said, the details here mostly line up.

The base Pixel 11 is shown in three colors, with the listing titles using “Obsidian,” “Hibiscus,” and “Pistachio” names, which don’t line up with previous leaks. But, digging into the description, the listings are “Midnight,” “Fuchsia,” and “Moss,” which do line up with past leaks. Even the “4CS4” in the title has been associated with Pixel 11 before.

Shortly after we initially published this article, we also spotted a listing for Pixel 11 Pro in “Dune,” “Light Fog,” “Pine,” as well as in “Sterling.”

Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also seen in “Pine” – matching up with a leak over the weekend – and “Midnight.”

Looking closer at the listings, we can see some core specs such as a 6.3-inch display at 1080×2424 on the base Pixel 11, 256GB of storage for $899, and 12GB of RAM, seemingly disproving a previous leak that strangely claimed Google might drop that base model to 8GB. There are Pro listings with 12GB of RAM, though, so it’s still up in the air. Many of these listings mention a “Google Pixel Tag” as a compatible accessory – no such tracker exists right now, but there have been rumors for years. The battery for the base Pixel 11 is mentioned at 4,985 mAh, slightly higher than last year, with Pro XL at 5,115 mAh and Fold at 4,750 mAh.

The biggest red flag in the description here is the mention of Android 16, as these phones will absolutely be shipping with Android 17. Another bit that feels out of place is a SIM ejector tool, but that could just be left over from past listings.

Other than that, we noticed the individual images are a bit low-res with some areas that are a little pixelated, but that doesn’t seem particularly out of line for an image being used in an early placeholder listing like this.

Again, we’d advise taking this with a grain of salt. There’s plenty pointing to this being legitimate, but there are enough oddities that we can’t say that for certain. It’s very likely that these listings will vanish soon enough.

While Google’s next Tensor chipset in the Pixel 11 series isn’t expecting to be a gamechanger by any means, it sounds like it will be right on the bleeding edge, as a new report claims Tensor G6 will be the first to adopt TSMC’s 2nm process, beating even Apple to the punch.

For the most part, Tensor G6 looks like a pretty good, though not all that exciting of an upgrade. New CPU cores and an outdated (but improved) GPU are claimed in leaks, as well as some other upgrades to the security chip, modem, and more.

Economic Daily News reports that TSMC’s 2nm process is being used for Tensor G6, making the Pixel 11 the first series of smartphones to hit the market with this new process. That’s usually held for the latest iPhone, but Apple’s September release gives Google a month of exclusivity. Apple’s A20 chips as well as next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity flagships will also be adopting TSMC’s 2nm process, the latter showing up in devices late this year and into early 2027. Apparently, those chips will use an extension of TSMC’s new process which offers even better performance and efficiency.

Google has officially confirmed an August 12 event to launch the Pixel 11 series, with the new devices leaking more frequently at the moment. Just this morning, we first reported on Amazon listings that revealed Google’s new colors and confirmed some apparent price hikes too.

Following a pretty big retail leak, the Pixel 11 series appears in listings on the FCC’s website as Google’s launch closes in.

According to Droid Life, the FCC website recently published certification listings for five new Pixel 11 devices. The names we know the phones by don’t appear in Google’s documentation, for good reason. It can be assumed that the listed GPQQ7, GUJ0N, G7SWN, GBC0H, and G4HCD refer to the Google Pixel 11 series as a whole, excluding the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Droid Life notes that the foldable carries a different model number.

It can’t be said with certainty which model numbers refer to which Pixel 11 variants in the listings. We’re expecting to see three individual standard models launched – the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL – alongside one Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The documentation does allow for some differentiation between the listed models. Under the network bands section, the FCC notes that three of the five devices will be equipped with UWB and Thread capabilities. That’s in addition to the standard 5G support with 5G mmWave and satellite connectivity. Two devices don’t carry Thread and UWB functionality. It’s likely that those two are the Pixel 11 or some variant of the base model, as the Pixel 10 Pro has UWB.

The Pixel 11 FCC listing also notes that these devices will be equipped with a MediaTek modem, which is a deviation from the Exynos units we’ve seen. The change was expected as early as last year, when Google was reportedly testing MediaTek modems for the Tensor G6 SoC. It looks like that report is a little more credible as the phones get closer to going public.

Beyond simple model numbers and network information, there isn’t too much to glean from Google’s FCC filings. This comes as recent leaks surfaced from a retailer selling the Pixel 11. The leaks show off some of the new colorways in the three models.

The Pixel 11 series is expected to launch on August 11.

All of those Amazon listings that gave us the goods happen to have partial specs lists for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. While we’re not going to call these “official” just yet, they are quite detailed and even include UPC codes for each device.

Pixel 11 series vs. Pixel 10 series differences​

Most of the numbers look as to be expected, but there is one change to point out. The listings suggest that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL will see a downgrade this year for their 256GB models. Last year, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL only came with 16GB RAM, no matter the storage amount. For these devices, 256GB models may only get 12GB RAM, while the 512GB and 1TB versions will see the full 16GB.

Obviously, the tech industry is dealing with massive RAM shortages, so Google could be saving its bigger RAM chips for the higher-end models with more storage. However, these listings do put a $100 price increase on base models with a decrease in RAM.

Other price increases include $120 increases on 512GB and $230 increases on 1TB models for the Pixel 11 Pro. The Pixel 11 Pro XL will apparently only see increases of $100 at each storage level.

As for other specs, display sizes and battery capacities remain similar to the Pixel 10 series.

For pixel....I think just buy their A series can already. It's mostly the camera not as nice, other than that It's almost the same experience as the flagship with an even better battery life.
