I think the only shattered expectations are those looking to upgrade from Pixel 10. However if you like Google Pixel phones and you're upgrading from Pixel 6, 7 or 8.. this is a good upgrade.

i think... jezee whisss... not all camera model every year have bangers... hahaha... there is always a time that there is a jump.. and sometime there is just a small step... aajaja

Trade in Pixel 10 pro fold $1160 (MisterMobile, carouhell maybe higher)
Use Google Credit $600
Pay $919
Got back $600 credit
6 months AI Pro $180 ( i used this)

Effective cost is $139

Upgrade for the sake to extend the google Credit.

I think this year prices and hardware are messed up by AI bubble. Wait till iphone announcement.. will probably cost a kidney but Apple captive fans will just swallow anyway.

Anywhere has the demo sets to see all the colours irl? I'm assuming Singtel shops and maybe the new booth near nojima as shared previously?

Comparing with 10 pro doesn't seem like the display bezels has shrunk much, looks pretty much the same...

The matte black pro models looks super sleek though as compared to other colours which is fp magnet.

never seen a price that go cheaper...before.. hahaha... just how much more nia....

iphone users are suck in because of eco system... but they have reach the point much earlier that you dont have to upgrade every year... a lot of people i know... upgrade about 3 year..

StarHub seems to be carrying Pixel 11 series this year. Can check StarHub too.

More importantly.. price went up but RAM went down.. if it was just price going up.. but specs same or higher than previous year.. then fair enough

Also Pixels you don't have to upgrade every year either... its just the old Android mentality.. Pixel is a bit different from the old school Android. Also.. iphones cost so much.. those who can't afford are forced to wait few years for each upgrade anyway. LOL

Doesn't look like a big upgrade to me. I will stick with my pixel 10 pro xl. Most of the software features that google showed, will also be coming to older phones, so why even bother with the new phone? It's not like my pixel 10 pro xl suddenly became worse or anything....
