TL;DR
  • Pixel 11 phones can now install Google’s CD1A.260905.001.B1 release.
  • This follows an A1 update distributed back at the start of the month.
  • Neither release delivers Android 17 QPR1.

Today may be all about Apple launches, with the introduction of both the iPhone 18 Pro series and the new foldable iPhone Duo, but we’ve still got some Pixel news to cover, as Google quietly starts pushing out a new Pixel 11 update.

This one was spotted by some Pixel fans over on the Reddit sub, and checking out Google’s repository of Pixel OTA downloads, we can confirm that build CD1A.260905.001.B1 now appears as the most recent release available for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. There are no matching releases for any older Pixel devices.

Those are all marked as September releases, and are actually the second to hit the Pixel 11 family this month, after CD1A.260905.001.A1 last week. Neither of these appears to be the eagerly anticipated Android 17 QPR1 update, which feels like it could start heading out at any moment.

Well, although it can be better, I'm content with p7 so far - not the best but not the worst. Spoilt once, fixed at MM, they tell me is motherboard issue and common with p7 and may not last long, that time panic wanted to buy p9, then p10, then now p11 still haven't die yet :s13:

Actually more on less set on p11, just want to see if GSM releases their battery life test then go find shops that accept SG60 vouchers :s12:

I have the p7 pro, the 5G modem really cmi. The device gets really with 5G and the switch to 5G SA really killed it. I literally only got 1 or 2 bar on 5G SA, I wanted to hold out for another year, but with poor reception and battery and rising RAM price, I had to reconsider.

I switched to P10XL 3 months and the new modem is so much better, on the same plan 5G SA, 4 to 5 bars, 10dB improvement. Overheat less.

I am sure the P11 will even be better.

Yes sir, my P7 after change to the GOMO 5G+ sim 1 bar only :s13:

Outside maybe 2 or 3 bar, never see full bar before.

The modem on the 11 is noticably better than on the 10. In places like the lift, I could hold 5G when the 10 would certainly drop to 4G.
