Hope got wireless charging and in fingerprint display
That means a punch-hole in the left corner, a 3.5mm headphone port at the top, a square rear camera housing featuring a single shooter in the lower right, and a rear fingerprint scanner.
But the video also delivers some key system specs courtesy of the AIDA64 app. The app lists the Sunfish model name (previously reported by XDA), Snapdragon 730 chipset, Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5.81-inch 2,340 x 1,080 display with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Other noteworthy details spotted in the video include a 3,080mAh battery and dual-SIM support. The former isn’t exactly big for a budget phone in 2020, especially when the likes of Xiaomi, Huawei, and Samsung are now offering 4,000mAh+ batteries in many devices. But it’s still bigger than the standard Pixel 4 battery.
Likely $600+ range
If the Pixel 4a is sporting the Nexus 5-esque back, I'll get it for sure to replace my 4.
I'm secretly hoping that the Pixel 4a has a better camera than the 4! It's not difficult to be; it just needs to be on par with the older Pixels. I think the Live HDR is the reason photos taken on Pixel 4 are so bad.
I actually think the older Pixels take better photos than the Pixel 4. So if the 4a camera is the same as that of the older Pixels, it’s, in my books, better than the 4 already.Doesn't make sense for a 4a better then 4.![]()
Probably follow 3a config, no visual core, no wireless charging.

This is just my personal experience, based on anecdotal evidence. As odd as it may sound, I think it may have to do with the Live HDR that Google introduced on the 4, coupled with the lack of an option now to choose between HDR+ and HDR (Enhanced).
how come mid range phone but priced so near the lower boundaries of a high range device..
missed the nexus pricing last time![]()
