Gpay SG alot issues though... Keep saying can't verify number right now, try again later :s22:

Are you trying to do so from the home page of Google Pay Singapore? I had errors too yest but when I tried to do so via the profile page, it worked. Try clicking on your profile icon at the top right hand corner and verifying your details from that page.

I am at the first page where it prompts to enter your mobile number and verify

Anyone tested the headphone jack?

My headphone only the left side is working, I have tested with a few headphone and the result is the same. I'm not too sure is it a hardware or software issue.

Weird man..

Gpay SG tap and pay cannot. Ytd downloaded NFC Tools and read my CC from phone, no issue. Wonder if it's something to do with disabling Pixel Buds app?

Edit: Or is it both Gpay and Gpay SG must be on the device for it to work.

Buyer remorse. Good phone overall but launch too close to p5 so reviewer is returning it.

Do note reviewer is used to features like wireless charging n misses those extras.

https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-4a-review-second-opinion-1156111/

Basically the reviewer wished he was getting pixel 5 for pixel 4a prices.

Of course he was going get buyer's remorse.

P5 is rumoured to be 2x more expensive at $699. dumb reviewer.

Poco X3 is $200 cheaper but with better build, better chipset and better screen (120Hz and bigger). Also arguably same photo quality with GCAM (i think some YouTubers did review.. with GCAM not so bad).

Just use NOVA launcher.. can have Pixel pure Android experience also.. save money

I just read the article and it's utter rubbish. He knows better what features he is getting into for a $350 phone and now regret getting it. Buyers remorse for end consumers are acceptable than a tech reviewer. How then can consumers trust his review when he doesn't know what to expect from a phone in his professional reviewer job.

Slap a nova launcher still doesn't hide the miui.
Side loading a gcam mod doesn't means you get the 1:1 pixel camera

1) gcam app = become pixel?? :s13:
2) Slap on nova launcher = pure android experience? :s13: :s13:

The best you can get to a clean android would probably be oneplus and slapping a gcam app to it doesnt improve the IQ until pixel level.. :s8:

He has pointed out good things too.

I think the point is for some who r used to flagship features, may be not easy to downgrade

I'm a 3a user. The polycarbonate on 3a feels n looks premium. Is 4a same material?

Probably just better for gaming. Those add on won't help much
