Meaning google only collect 466.36 from u. 499-32.64 (GST). Google will give 32.64 to govt.

I cancelled my pixel 4a order with courts. End of Sep quite long. By then pixel 4a 5G, pixel 5 launching and iPhone 12 announced as well. Shall see the prices of both to decide which is better purchase

Specs definitely better than 4A but officially Google is not bringing it in due to 5G availability in SG so gonna import in.

gsmarena finally posted their p4a review and seems like they have the same observations about the FFC as me. So at least now i know it's not unit variance.

First, let's start with the fixed focus lens. It seems the focus is set to infinity because everything in the background is in perfect focus but faces look slightly out of focus.

Even when extending an arm out as far as possible, selfies still didn't seem fully in-focus. Perhaps Google did this to soften the look of facial features since the Pixel likes to pull more detail than many would prefer.

Don't quite agree with their guess though, because they could just do a bit skin smoothening while keeping faces in focus. I mean that option is even built into the camera app already.

Is this a software or a hardware kind of thing? This sounds bad to me. I dislike the front camera on Pixel 4 because it produces an oil painting effect. It looks ok though if I use Night Sight. Didn't use to have this issue on the older Pixel phones. Was hoping the Pixel 4a will be better.
