Hey guys. Not familiar with pixel phones. Samsung user myself. But looking for a phone for my dad to upgrade from a S7.

reading back last few pages, some posts talk about Pixel phone no warranty in sg? Or is it only for those guys importing for themselves from USA.
Can't be no warranty for the ones sold by challenger or google store bah?

All local Pixel 4A from Google Store, Challenger or Courts and i believe Amazon.sg would be covered under local warranty.

We are talking about Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5 which would probably be announced 1-3 months down the road and Google is not officially bringing this into SG. So this would be self import overseas set.

Sorry there is a service center for Pixel phones in singapore right?
My friend has an earlier Pixel.

2 display sets at Challenger PLQ. Love the handy size of the phone. Feels snappy as well when toying with some of the apps and functions.

Never prepare skin, case or TG. Gonna use it naked.

Tmr check with Courts if they can meet the delivery date.

What timeline are you looking at ?
I want to order too, but if it takes like end of Sept, I will rather buy it off the shelves during Oct

What do you guys think of the battery life? Do you think it can last for a day plus for low to medium user?

Actually it is similar for Android too. But some app developers can opt to continue to support older OS. Usually they will base it on the Android distribution chart and stop support when the user base of Android 5.1 ( example ) drop below a certain percentage.
