Anyone else using their 4a on TPG network? Data works fine but can't receive or make regular calls. Can't find the volte option anymore since updating to Android 11. Their voice call app also not working for Android 11 yet I think.

Feedback to tpg, ask them update app should be faster than actual volte support.

Yeah, already shot them an email. But I think everyone knows how terrible TPG customer service is.

M1 still not having volte support for 4a as well gives me some hope that TPG isn't that far behind.

Thanks. So far only singtel and starhub VoLTE and wifi calling works with Pixel 4a

Yea, i'm asking M1 why their carrier settings so out-dated. They still can reply me maybe device dont support, i show them the SH screenshot..VoLTE available for both M1 and SH on my wife's P30 Pro.

don't keep your hopes too high. very likely only singtel and starhub will ever be supported on the P4a.

case in point. P2XL launched on singtel and volte was not supported on day 1 and till date.. it does not support VoLTE on any of the local telcos.

imho the screw up is should be with google.

TPG finally send acknowledgement about me not wanting to continue one of the line(I login online and opt out in May) :s13:

So they dump the ball back to Google.. :s13:

Thank you for waiting, as per checked, M1 did have VOLTE service however it seems that google pixel 4A do not have the VOLTE option for M1 SIM card only.

I believed this is between on Google and M1 agreements whether Google will allowed M1 SIM card to have VOLTE option in their phone models.

What I can is forward your feedback to our relevant team for possible future enhancement (if we came to an agreement with google).

I am sorry for this.

But on Google support

All Pixel devices support LTE and VoLTE out of the box. It is up to the carrier on whether or not they will provision the individual devices for VoLTE on their network.

they are correct. the phone has to support it for the specific telco.

And then you have this from Google.. :s13: :s13:

All Pixel devices support LTE and VoLTE out of the box. It is up to the carrier on whether or not they will provision the individual devices for VoLTE on their network.

So i guess for ST and SH since they previously carry 3a or Pixel 3/4 respectively so they have enable the option.

i have been following this since the P2XL days. google could have allowed user to overwrite the setting. they choose not to. I blame google.. lol

do a *#*#4636#*#* all the IME provision settings are greyed out.

already did, they dump me back to google.. :s13:

haiz... imho google is quite clueless when it comes to telco support, dual sim, logistics and hardware warranty support.
and they wonder why their phones market share so low... lol

case in point, no local telcos carry P4a.. ultimate failure
