Received an update from the CSO notifying that the delivery slot will be scheduled for this Sat, 10/10, as they are expecting stocks to arrive within the next few days, so good news for those who wish to order from COURTS.

P.S. If you do not receive any updates after a week, send them a message via their website or live chat. They responded to my case within 2 working days with a confirmation of the delivery date.
Same here, just got confirmation email from courts. Delivery on 10/10. Probably their stock just came in and sending out now.

Sent from Google PIXEL 2 XL using GAGT

CTDI is very anal about this

1) if not local set. zero warranty. you are on your own
2) if local and from telco/authorised retailer (courts/challenger) then warranty follows receipt. If not warranty is based on manufactured date in their system

i asked about this a year back and 2 weeks ago. same answer.

1) This one cannot dispute.

2) If local set and no receipt, they ought to honour warranty. There can be valid reasons of not having a receipt.

hahaha.. what's why i say they are anal. they honour warranty but follow their system's date. the reason they gave is that some mobile shops buy back units and then sold as new so they sisi want authorised retailer receipt. When I was servicing my P2XL a year back, there was a fellow there to repair P3XL and he showed some mobile shop receipt. CTDI rejected.

That's fair enough. Just follow manufacturing date.

I realised some USB cables will not charge Pixel 4a, looks to be the same case as Pixel 4 from a google search. My original Huawei USB-C cable with purple colour head doesn't work :-(

Mine wasn't wrapped in cellophane but in a loose plastic bag. There are 2 stickers that bind the cover to the box.
My sis ordered a Pixel 4a and box was not wrapped in cellophane but was placed in a clear loose plastic bag. Both plastic bag and box seem weathered but the 2 stickers with arrows are intact.

Quite surprising for us since for other smartphone brands, the box is always wrapped with cellophane.

That probably means your cable is not pd certified

Last year when I bought 3a also same. So long the 2 seals are intact, should be fine.
