The thing now is nobody knows whether the set launching in SG is the one with mm wave like those in US / Australia.. or the one without like in rest of world. Coupled with supposed delayed shipping dates, I would just wait for local launch.

Even delivery in Australia now is 31Dec-03Jan2022

Think can't do much since Australia also delay. On top of this, only AU/US/JP 5G are on mmwave and sub-6.

So otherwise buy from JP, black only 128gb but shipping is fast

Not like there’s an urgency to get this phone anyway… rather wait for the bugs or issues to be flush out first rather than jump into a purchase with a risk of no warranty protection.

Very good and in depth review. Basically the batt life is the worst in the phone.

This is very misleading. It is reported that MKBHD was using 5G all the way, and he is known for having is phone running at 80-100% brightness most of the time.
Almost every other review I've read/watched have reported screen on time of at least 5-6 hours, Reddit ppl many even reported more than 10 hours SOT, if they use for normal messaging and not gaming/media consumption.


But sure if anyone wants to take the word of a single review as it is, then by all means

The fingerprint reader is very slow and unreliable in the reviews. Huge disappointment!

The screen also need to be on before any finger unlock, seem like is optic fingerprint like Oneplus phone instead of ultrasonic like S21 series.

Saw the Taiwan aotters girls YouTube also saying the both phones seem to heat up quite fast. Maybe need another software optimisation update.

Camera quality from MKBHD saying tend to overuse of HDR and not the best compare to iPhone 13 series for its consistency.
