In summary, it's improved but not USD $900 level good. Not good enough to be his daily driver. Personally, I'm just curious why is the experience so wildly different for pixel 6 owners.

I mean it could really be bad batches.. how often do we have speakers and motherboard related issues. They know but they can't admit they screw up something inside.

I think for camera wise: ifone > pixel
Me compare with my friends ifone pro max and his really better imo. We both use point and shoot on food, normal landscape...

But I prefer android os... If only there's a phone with ifone camera and android os

Just for sharing if anyone of you guys face that your mic is not working suddenly:

Just blow hard into mic bottom left corner like how u do when you blow at those game cartridge and it will clear. I almost went down to CTDI to fix it which was recommended by Google support. So there is a design flaw in the phone .

not a permanent solution.. encountered similar issue. Starting off blowing helps but it keeps coming back eventually blowing doesn't help. Suggest you go down ctdi to get it checked.

But most likely is dust clog it ? If blow able to resolve ? If is really clog, no permanent solution cause is design issue alr

When you blow, you are shaking the mic too.

Reminder the mic is just a transducer that converts mechanical into electrical energy.

The shake could wake the intermittent mic.
