Hi guys. Interested to get a Pixel 6 Pro. Recently came across quite a bit of cellular issues reported on Reddit (which seem to be mainly USA users).. Just wondering how is it in SG for those of you with the P6Pro? Does it make a diff if I’m only using 4G (ie no 5G)?

Same here.

Whipped out my 6 Pro for today test run. 5G signal seems improved alot. On Singtel.

IMS Status now shows Not Registered and voLTE is also Unavailable.... Sigh.
Is it because of eSIM on CL?

Edit: put in another CL SIM and IMS Status is back to Registered. Sigh... I want my SIM back.

Got my 6a yesterday! Realised the set I got from Moby was from jp though .

But thankfully I managed to unlock bootloader and root and change it to the Singapore version hehe

Yup, now I have the option in camera settings and when I check the regulatory information it shows the Singapore model number. Please note the following steps will reset your device and you will lose all information

First, I follow the steps to root my device here: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-unlock-bootloader-root-magisk-google-pixel-6a/

Must make sure you get the correct image that matches your device: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-download-android-13/

After being rooted, I followed the steps here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/converting-japanese-pixel-6-to-global-version.4365275/

I download some random hex editor (https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/). Instead of the model number quoted in the thread, I searched for GB17L instead and replaced it with GX7AS (you can find the model numbers on Google's website here: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/7158570?hl=en#zippy=,pixel-a

Once done, I go to https://flash.android.com/welcome to re-download back and flash the stock image which will also lock back the bootloader. So far iBanking apps and InTune seems to be working. I can also register my CC with Google Wallet for transit (although I have not tried it in practice yet but I don't see why it won't work).

Last time I got jp pixel 5A, googled around and results showed that flashed to non-jp image also won't be able to remove the camera sound so I never tried it out.

Thanks was glad I was able to remove it, if not it negates one of the selling points of the phone hahaa.

I bought this phone as a spare cos my s22u is down for repair at SVC centre for the next two weeks. I'm quite impressed that despite the sensor being dated and old, it still takes photos much faster than the s22u (hate the shutter lag) and the photo quality is really very decent.

By the way does anyone experience issues with Bluetooth? For some reason with my jabra 85t I keep getting skipping every now and then

EDITED AT 8.47AM from 5am i been sitting on my comp figuring it out. was scare cos my last action on flashing on xperia X1. been an ios user all these years. anyway finally got it done. thanks and it works beautifully
