Yea...really disappointed with Google...
Was happy when they started selling P2XL in SG...now only after a few generation, they decided to stop selling here...
Even their online store now looks like some closing down store selling leftover...
Now we are back to Apple/Samsung...
Not good to have majority to them you know....

How come you give up on Xperia 1iii? It’s the closest we can get now to a Pixel phone I thought.

Probably because the camera not as quick and easy to use as pixel? Want to take one photo you have to hold the phone very stable and adjust distance/angle and maybe even need to tweak some settings than can get nice shot. Sometimes maybe need to retake a few times....
Pixel just pull out and snap very clear and nice liao...no need think too much.
IMO if Xperia 1 III + Pixel software will be perfect phone...

This.. and the camera AI is not very good. If the lens gets smudged, the photo will be blur.

But my main gripe is the phone cannot tap in/out at the TraceTogether gateway.

Ahh.. camera-wise, actually having used all the Pixel up till the 5 and also the iPhone, the iPhone 12 pro's camera has already surpassed Pixel's to my eyes. And I'm talking about still photos here. Videos-wise, there's simply no fight.

And the iPhone 13 Pro is supposed to have even better cameras... Really curious whether the Pixel 6 Pro can retake the throne it once occupied for a good number of years.
