By 2025, just nice can change to pixel 10. But I've never hold any phone >3yrs la

Most imptt is for pixel 6 to launch here first and keep pricing competitive :o

Hello, finally created an account after lurking for months.

I've also pre-ordered a P6P White, having it shipped over from US.
I wanna share this reddit post, some guy consolidated quite a few "reviews". really looking forward!!

where did you pre-ordered from? Mind sharing?

Idk how fast is 5g as compare to 4g bc no phone to test that lol. Daily usage for an average person, I reckon even youtube also got much difference since I can alr stream YouTube on 4g without lag

I think for gaming it makes a difference bc playing games in mrt using 4g is not good. Unless don't move then 4g is good

For me, I won't jump to 5g unless the price is similar. Hard to justify for higher price when I'm not getting big incremental benefit. Maybe the frontier tech enthusiasts will find it useful but for me, right now, 4g speed is sufficient when I'm outside. It's a huge improvement fr 3g speed

Personally, I find 4g speed fr fastest to slowest: tpg > st > m1
(No idea for *hub bc I don't have that sim)

did you order 128g then since most 256g sold out already.
No actually, i went straight for 128g cuz i don't usually use much space, and I wanted to save some money.

In fact, I was camping the website and managed to get my order through within 2 minutes of 1am (SGT), before the website crashed.

Then my order got cancelled an hour later, because of payment verification **** (a lot of people had this issue).
Then the next day I just keep refreshing the whole day then at around 9 am (SGT), there was stock again and I managed to order it.

My first order, est delivery was 26-29 Oct, then it got cancelled.
My second order, the one that got confirmed the next morning, est delivery is 4-5 Nov

Hmmm, since the delivery dates will take until dec/jan then i think its better to wait for local release.
At most will release in feb/march 2023 which is not too far off.

Why pay more to import and no warranty also

I dont think is paying more leh. I'm 100% sure that Singapore prices markup will be more than importing fees+currency conversion.

The only thing I'm not sure about is if warranty will be legitimate in Singapore for imported sets.

All in all, I still definitely don't regret importing and I get to use it few months before (mine should arrive mid Nov). And I'm still happy that it might be released in Singapore, because being officially launched in Singapore means that repair shops are more likely to have parts and experience in this. So even if I have eno warranty, I'm still more than likely to find somewhere that can fix any problems.

Have to see how much sg selling then. Mark up yes, just hope won't be ridiculous pricing :( I'm guess 900-1000 for p6 :(

You won't get warranty here if you import fr US. The same goes for iphone (except India if not wrong or unless they change their policies)

Depends on individual's risk appetite, I personally prefer a warranty set for peace of mind :o
