Essentially, the Pixel is potentially the best if you adjust it.

1. Don't use night mode, use normal at night. And it'll be sharp and not blur (due to crazy over exposure ) and no longer overblown.
2. When taking videos at night, reduce brightness and it'll remove the crazy noise.

When he did the above, the image quality were far superior.

Although I still prefer iphone's more contrast look for day time photos. But I guess that can be adjusted (decrease shadow) as well on Pixel since it can technically capture more light.

A good thing about the new Pixel is that it'll remember your settings rather than resetting it after every take.

-no double apps (like SS)
-monthly security & software updates
-good camera photos/computational photography and very useful is the photos app cloud backup
-bland videos like no HDR recording, but still very stable and usable
-UI software smooth and reliable
-Google Home
auto integration,
for all google home devices, is just marvelous
-Forgot to add
very good
voice capture AI, ie. Google Assistant, language translate etc
-And only if you're not a hardware chaser...

still have unlimited original size in Google photo or not?

Yah... it was always going to take Google time for Tensor to mature ( esp given their track record )
