Hmmz.. but i manage to successfully booked an order from Google US store using vPost forwarder service.
I even received an email from google with invoice.

U mean they will cancel my order?

The restriction to ship to forwarders have been there since as early as Nexus days, if i recalled correctly except that now their checking have improved so much until those used to be able to order via VPN are not working anymore.

Not to disappoint you but keep your fingers crossed until you received the shipped email + posting of charges on your cc.

Doing it yourself is actually quite a bit cheaper.

$599 x 1.34 x 1.07 + $15 (shipping) = $873 SGD.

$873 vs $1500. Big diff.

i thought 1500 is for pixel 6 pro.. many carouseller selling 6 pro at 1500 - 1600

Sometimes the shutter on/off is useful if you trying to take photos in a quiet environment.
It's not only useful for illicit activities

yup my cc got charged with no delay email. i emailed them yesterday (without knowledge of this delay) to ask if the delivery will be done sooner than the original order date since my card got charged lol and they got back saying that my delivery is still on schedule for mid nov. (original order date) I think it depends on the colors ordered. i got the 256gb black

Seems like Google's us store automatically cancels any orders shipped to forwarders

but mine was not cancel, it accepted my order and when i alternate select 2 different address:
1) My US friend address, there is Tax of 10%
- 899 USD + 91 USD (tax)
2) vPost forwarder address, there is no Tax
- 899 USD only

in the end i choose vPost and it went through, it has been about 48 hours but no cancellation so far, i even received SMS from my CC that amount 899 USD was deducted.

Yeah I was referring to the 6 pro! I know it's cheaper to get yourself but I was lazy to find out ways to ship from google since I don't have friends that live overseas and the other options like clove actually seem a bit more expensive. I don't know which site I saw (maybe it's the bigapple one) it charged me $100 for shipping

The tax depends on the state you are shipping to, its not because it thinks you're a "tourist" or "local". It is a state sales tax.
Whether or not your order goes through, you will only know when it has shipped, not when your card is charged or not.

Good luck to you, I placed 2 orders, the one with the earlier shipping date got cancelled but the later one is still outstanding.

Ultimately still comes down do vpost ship devices with li-ion batteries… they did stated in faq they do not ship items with batteries.

The vpost FAQ for the items that are shipping from USA vpost does not state that. That is only for Australia vpost I guess.
