Hello guys,

Need some advise here. Currently a Oneplus user but I am super ready to move to Pixel since the Oneplus-Oppo merger which is ruining the clean and stock feel of the Oxygen OS.

Been waiting patiently for its official launch in Singapore since last year and then realised that they only offered 128GB variant here in SG.

I am looking at Pixel 6 Pro 256GB from UK model GLUOG - and I have checked on our Google Singapore webstore which has the same model GLUOG. Can anyone confirm that they are the exact same model?

I have seen some people posting here that encountered issues with their UK set. Just want to be sure before I make the purchase.

Used i-blason for my s20+ previously and was awesome protection. Reasonable pricing too.

i-blason case is nice but screen protector trap dust and water

What's the problem you faced?
I did a transfer form ip13 -> pixel 4a5g a month ago..no issues.

It keeps looping "importing chat history" from whatsapp for my 4gb whatsapp

I realized mine suddenly stopped around 10mins did I get a lemon set? I haven't tried recording again

Known issue for pixel. Maybe trying to control temperature of the processor... 4k60fps will be worst

I was using 4k60 as wanna use the highest resolution where possible

Nx time I try 4k30 see issit can record >10mins

You know if samsung s21+ also have similar issue?

i thought chat history is part of the google back up? i change many time from samsung to pixel and back.. usually no issue with data just app might need to redownload and rearrange.

I believe 128GB and 256GB versions are using same model number, is that what you mean?

anyway, I've finished the incredibly long (5 hours) sequence for IOS to Android migration

Process is SLOWER than the 3rd party solutions and LOUSY because I lost a lot of chats

Also, it requires an undocumented step of having to switch off the phone after the process completes and reboot else whatsapp will be looping the "Import chat history" window indefinitely

This is the last time I'll ever use a fruit phone !!

No, am just wondering if there's a SG specific model and I should look out for. As for some brands, if the bandwidth and network are not compatible it might cause issues.

Yes. My photos are in cloud, and using music streaming service, so definitely enough for me
