The fingerprint unlock is horrible, it work like only 10% of the time.
Same here, 30%. There is a setting to increase screen sensitivity, not sure if it helps. Maybe delete and set then fingerprint again, maybe not capture nicely.

Some tips
1. Ensure fingers are clean when doing the enrolment
2. Ensure fingerprint sensor area is clean before enrolment
3. Ensure fingers are a bit "moist" when enrolling (what you want to use to moist your finger idk liao :s13: dont think dirty hor :s13:)
4. Delete and re enrol if the current records are not working well
5. Can try a factory reset and set up the phone again. This happens on my p7, and i need a factory reset to solve it
6. Enrol each finger twice for higher success rate

I captured the fingerprint before applying SP, that could be the issue. I removed and readd them with SP on, looks ok now.

One thing I always try to do is to register prints the same way I would unlock the phone in real life. Increases hit rate in my ( non scientific ) opinion.

I borrowed a giga sim card to try. It doesn't seem to support VoLTE for this Pixel 6a.

finally update finish, hmm how come use fingerprint unlock liao still need pin? :s22:
Everytime you reboot the phone, secondary unlock is required for security reasons. It will be either pin or gesture unlock depending on what you choose.

Used it for a few days

Snappy most of the time (with a bit of lag due to 60hz) and but mostly it is all good. Even Spotify on lock screen looks cool with the album art covering the notification.

Worth it at <400 SGD but not worth 749SGD

Agree with you. It’s a at most $400 plus phone. $749 is just carrothead price. $749 can get last years or earlier this year Android flagships like those Oneplus etc, which will be better than this except for camera.

At USD299 its still more ex than getting in shopee which will include all discount coupon and CC rebate.
USD299 is still more than SGD350 that many bros got here in shopee.

and you need to add in 7% GST coz USD299 is above SGD400.

might as well buy scalper price on carousell.haha.
