my thoughts so far after 3 days.. for the hardware specs, phone at $500 is great value and at $400 is just amazing. considering there's security updates until 2027 and decent battery capacity, will be good as backup phone in the later years.
battery wise, coming from 4a, obvious improvement but standby still similar decrease, 9%~ over 6-7hours while sleeping. similar rate since P1 to now..
screen is bright enough outdoors and the 60hz feels really smooth and fluid for what it is, Have tried 120hz before but not 90hz display so cant really compare.
fp sensor - reminds me of samsung s5 or s6 when fp scanners first came out, need to align, touch and hold for like 1s before tech improved to like 0.3s processing time.
great phone for price and specs but setting it up when transferring data over is troublesome even when pixel to pixel, make me yearn back for ios only for this. gonna wait to see if iphone 15 or 16 will come with usb-c and if their stupid notifications system improved.
