due to Japan set use felica nfc
network band should work but maybe tpg bands depends

I check with the seller, he mention working with 5G, gpay like sg set..

Check Google specs comparison between SG/JP set, other than cam sound + FeliCia for JP set, the rest are the same.

Gpay is tied to NFC so he mention gpay no issue working here. NFC is quite standardise protocol isnt it??

If you look at Japan model under Network, the only difference is that it has FeliCa which is literally sort of like ezlink and that is probably why it would work with payment system over in Japan which you need..

Using Japan set now. NFC works with GPay, Singtel Dash, Grabpay Card, Alipay, WeChat etc. Managed quite a few times to use the NFC (bind to Dash/GPay) on buses & MRT.
