Finally started using the pixel 6a yesterday.
Pasted a cheap tempered glass protector and the fingerprint sensor is only working 50% of the time.
Tried turning on sensitive touch display but doesn't help much.
Thinking if I should get a film protector instead or if it's the fingerprint sensor problem.

no wonder ur listing nv include the pixel.. lol.. maybe u can try without the tempered glass first to test if there's a problem with the fingerprint sensor.. I think some bros recommended some tempered glass that works with the p6a.. I'm using the one bought from wmartsg personally works well.. alternatively can wait for ibywind which is highly recommended by myself and some others.. they said will sell by this month.. I personally don't like film as it doesn't offer any drop protection and scratches easily..

Tried the pixel 6a for 2 days and my fp scanner still a hit and miss. It works well on most part of the day but usually cannot detect when I am just out of bed in the morning or after shower.

Register multiple (thumb) prints, then unlock your phone with your thumbprint repeatedly for 5-10 mins. also turn on screen protector mode
