Are you using the same account?? Coz, you can use the code one time per account only.. If you want create a new account and try again.

My personal thoughts on Pixel 6a ( vs Pixel 4a ) after 2 months of use ( include travel )

Design & Build
Both are equally appealing for me. Unique vs Clean design. This might come as a surprise to many but I think 4a feels better in my hands. Have never understood the industry obsession with "premium" materials like glass & metal. Give me a well designed plastic lightweight phone any day. Not to mention, P4A was "right size" for me ( perfect for 1 handed use ). P6A is too big and heavy to use comfortably with 1 hand. Google, 70mm max width and no more than 160g please ! Buttons are also a tad better on the cheaper phone.

Display
Again, the obsession with fast refresh rates now. I do not deny 90hz is better but it is hardly a deal breaker for me. In fact, I was using a 90hz phone before "upgrading" to P4A. Now, it's yet another upgrade in UI experience going from a 730g to Tensor. I also don't use P6A for pro art work nor do I use my phone looking from the side, so no major complaints here except for peak brightness under sunny conditions.

Battery / Charging
My job does not afford the luxury of constantly being on the phone. So my main usage is usually during daily commute, lunch and whatever free time in between. I also have access to office Wi-Fi. I would use adaptive charging overnight and leave home with the phone @ 100%. After the upgrade, I have gone from having 15-25% remaining to 35-45% after a typical 12 hours work day. And since the phone can last my day, the whole "no fast charging" boo hoo doesn't matter. Oh, I also don't care for 5G right now, so the whole Tensor/Samsung/Exynos issue has no effect for me with phone set to 4G on my 4G sim only plan.

Brought it with me on an overseas trip recently. With heavy camera usage, focus mode and battery saver on, I could get it through the day and back to the hotel with 10-15% left.

Speakers
Not much to say here. They are probably not the best but they are perfectly fine for my usage. It's a mobile phone not a portable cinema, okay. In any case, I am on earbuds mostly on public transport. Maybe just a touch more bass on P4A due to the plastic unibody design ?

Software & Performance
I am not a power user so P6A was always going to feel like an upgrade to flagship to me. I also waited for the updates & fixes before switching over so all the fundamentals was working from the get go. Again, not much to say, it's clean and snappy.

Camera
Mixed feelings here. One of the major reason I buy Pixel, is for the camera. While I am disappointed that it's essentially the same hardware from past generations, it's still a good snapper except in the most challenging conditions. I was contemplating between P6A and P6 initially but Google was still struggling to get the best out of Tensor and the new camera hardware then, it didn't make sense to splash extra $ for what was essentially similar results in most situations. The UW was just okay as it wasn't that much wider than the main cam but at least the colour science was fairly consistent. Video is much improved from P4A but I will still stick with the GoPro on my travels.

Value:
I didn't buy P6A at SRP. With that in mind and the requirements I needed, P6A was a good buy for me. Although it wasn't perfectly what I wanted, there was no other phone on the market close enough ( except for Pixel 5 )

Anyone has managed to use an external ssd ( NVME in a usb case ) successfully on their Pixels ?
AFAIK Android 13 officially supports exFAT and I can get the drive detected.
The problem is the drive will disconnect whenever I transfer larger files.

sounds like an export set.
wasted you missed the courts deal last week. it around 439-ish with promo code.
I just saw that post. :(

My daughter's phone broke down so no choice.

Yup definitely an export set. But seller seems reputable so I don't mind taking the risk.
