Yeap. Then I'll wait for P7. My fear is that the price of the basic model would be super high. At least P6a I can offload Fitbit charge (has to be lower than anybody else) and P4a 5g. My P3XL is busted with no warranty. Have to pay to get it fixed as a backup phone. Urgh.

Why not just get Pixel 6 now and use the 4a 5g as backup ?

I not so urgent to change a new phone now. If P7 is really expensive then I'll fall back to P6, which I hope the price drops even further.

Good luck with that, Google have a habit of letting their inventory ( referring to Google Store itself ) run out before the new model come in. However, you should still be able to get it from 3rd party retailers.

Yeah, usually will discontinue when new flagship out.

I remember Pixel 4/4 XL discontinued before Pixel 5 launch. (less then a year launched - https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/6/21356745/google-pixel-4-xl-discontinued-out-of-stock)

TBH did anyone see the buds pro getting the discount even purchasing together with a phone? Feels like they are 299 (293 at challenger) all the time, and the only thing we can get is the amazon credits or shopee cashback vouchers.....

You have take into account he's reviewing from the pov of a person who have hands on with the best high end devices. He will be more sensitive to such differences. This goes for all the YouTube "reviewers". Such lag may not be apparent to normal everyday users.

As for the lag, I suspect he might be referring to touch sampling rate. Most flagship phones nowadays have at least 120hz TSR, combined with 90hz/120hz displays, it allows for a very responsive user experience especially for gamers.

I can tell you having used a Realme x2 pro, s10e and pixel 4a. I rank 4a last in terms of the touch responsiveness ( not the same as phone lag ). But it isn't so bad that it affects my daily usage.

actually my 4a used to be very smooth.. only 2 updates ago then started becoming less responsive

i did a quick check. For challenger, can add the buds pro after adding phone to cart. For shopee, it is applied as $60 off voucher. The rest not so sure.
