Finally got my balance $30 gift voucher after email and follow up chat with CSO this morning.

In my email I specifically request for the missing $30 gift card over the early bird stakable promotion (provided them with order# & order date) and asked for timeline of the redemption.

This morning I chat with CSO to follow up on the email, upon few minutes checked, she mentioned will be refunds will be within next few hours and it does appeared in my gift card balance now.
So means everyone whom bought through amazon have to chat with them 1 by 1 ah?

I chat them they ask me call the bank lolol. They say bank send amazon the transfer then amazon credit to us?

Yes this is what I did to check with them as I recall the early bird limited slot for the stakable promotions.

I never called the bank for the first $30 voucher as it was automatically credited to the gift card yesterday on 20-Aug based on the email I got on 6-Autg and I believed you also received the same email as mine?

Same here, just have to wait for OCBC to update their app to support Android 13. My challenger value club app is not compatible with Android 13 too. Just have to wait it out since we update so fast to Android 13.
Bro, i called up ocbc and requested them to deactivate whatever device that was previously registered. Only then you can proceed to register your pixel 6a to use their banking app.

Be prepared to stay on the line to reach the customer service.

My soundcore liberty air 2 pro just prompted me to update the firmware support for LDAC codec now testing with P6a.
Based on my few day test my liberty air 2 pro max stability for LDAC is up to balance audio and connection without drop connection with wifi 5G connection.

That's poor app design. Most of my other banking apps will deactivate the previous registration upon successful login on new device.

Can't blame them for locking down and being extra paranoid. They became infamous internationally for insecure banking practises that caused industry-wide ripples.

Not only for this issue. I personally feel their app is the worse among the main SG banks.
Have given 1 star on Playstore in the past for their poor UI.

Yeah, but poor app design is one thing. Bank policies resulting in security are something else. Here the manual unlinking of the existing app is more a policy than app design - they intentionally do not automatically link new apps because of the risk that it could be a scammer's app that was linked, which was how the account owners lost money the first time - the same 2FA used to authorise new devices and then from there the money was transferred out. I merely pointed out that their policies are likely very tight because of that public loss of confidence. Better to inconvenience customers a bit more than to go through another round of mistrust.

For banks, trust is everything. If they were to have another major incident resulting in millions of dollars lost, not only will the banks lose that money in reimbursement, they will also lose customers who will not want to bank with them anymore, and who will spread the news why they don't bank with them - potentially leading other customers to leave.

To give another banking incident that showed the value of trust in a bank. Citibank many years ago lost a few high net worth customers because of a backend failure that resulted from a software migration. It was a case study that my cohort read while we were pursuing our computing degree - that the last thing a rich man wants to see when he logs into his wealth management account is to see a balance of $0. The money was actually there, but a few software bugs resulted in the figures not being pulled correctly on the home page. As a result, those customers immediately migrated their millions of dollars to other banks, and told their friends who did the same. Citibank lost many millions of dollars' worth of customers simply because of loss of trust. Pretty sure some folks pulled their OCBC accounts after that fiasco - I know my relatives did, moving their business accounts to UOB and other banks.

Nanotech is pretty good, but my first choice is the slightly pricier Zeelot if you can find one that fits.

I used clear Nanotech on my Pixel 4a and my current A52s, and I've found the oleophobic layer wearing off over time - also because I do use alcohol wipes which does wear down the coating and makes it feel rubbery over time. My 2.5yo matte Zeelot on my iPhone 11 still works well. Still, I recognise the Nanotech can last longer than many other brands, and at $8 it's quite a steal. Perhaps buy 3 a time to save on shipping, and change every 6-9 months or so whenever you wish.

Edit: When I got my Zeelots, it was $29 before discount (I paid under $20 each for 1 iPhone 11 and 2 Samsung S20+ years back, with application in shop.). Just checked current prices, and it's gone up to $49 lol. My bad. Can't recommend at that price. Probably ibywind or Nanotech then.

Yup, nanotech coating concern i am aware of that. Zeelot for pixel 6a is out atm at 24 dollars. So it depends whether u prefer use 1 tempered glass for long or keep changing a new one. But now is covid period, i feel the cheaper option is better as can keep changing :s13:

I haven't used ibywind, but how is their coating compared to nanotech?

Other concern with nanotech is the black border that does block some content around the fringes.

Their model in stock now is classic fit, not with the black border one

Ibywind coating imo is better than nanotech and quite lasting from my experience

Are you currently using the classic fit?

Does the camera area have a teardrop shape cutout or just a small round hole?

Not using. Im using zeelot now, it has a small round hole. I ordered nanotech as spare for now while waiting for ibywind to come out their tempered glass for pixel 6a
