Must we have the email to qualify or merely the phone can already?

Cos I bought my phone from Shopee (but I think it is still Google's Authorised Retailer shop).

Had my phone battery changed before at Aperia Mall as described in my earlier posts a year back.

In the email, there is a link for you to input IMEI to check if you are eligible.

Guessed after inputting, you will see the options and how to go about for the various options if eligible.

Mine doesn't qualify.... maybe because the battery has already been replaced.

Just asked this question yesterday, answer is a page back, understand that you can keep the phone. If u have the email, you can contact google and confirm with them.

Icic. But i was also wondering what would be the process to get the cashback for option 2 actually.

Funny enough i receive the email like around 1am last night.

Perhaps u need to choose the email that u signed up warranty with that phone?

You signed in using different google email address that you received the email for the program?
Try sign in using the google account in your 6a?

Tried liao, same issue. Ended up with going the 'longer way' to get verification done.

I read that got similar issues with the Pixel 4a and 7a. Both times they managed to avoid a recall.

Probably best to avoid the a-series altogether. Also, anyone who applied for the 100 USD refund received their money already? How much is it in SGD?
