Precisely la. It depends on content and also screen brightness. It needs to be at 50 percent or above brightness. Even ltpo works the same way else u will start noticing flickering of display in a dim room.

I play tons of custom roms and am in custom roms development team before. So i know how the code is under the hood

Precisely, it's not variable refresh rate. You have to manually toggle. I know cos I used my 90hz OnePlus 7t. Unless when it's a ltpo display.

I just tried again on bus.
I tap on home screen, there's a blue tick on my gpay but on the bus terminal flash red show invalid card.
I just continue go inside since there's a blue tick already.
Not sure if payment gone through.

Try remove the payment method and readding again. Also make sure the card u are using for transit is set as the default payment card

Your situation is a little weird and can get stopped by the driver. Then you have to dig the transaction out to show him/her.

I once scanned, my phone got tick, but their machine doesn't register the transaction, then 'all hell breaks loose because driver think I didn't pay'.

My one scream at me to tap again....then I could have got double charged, this one not sure. Later then I dig out the transaction because just scanned is a little deeper in gpay than I thought....

My experience with public transport NFC is need to unlock the phone to tap for 100% success rate.

Not sure about pixel 7 pro yet as haven't try.

P5 no need to unlock anything.

anyway just sharing my review of the ringke case.. I feel the smoke black on obsidian really makes the phone look much nicer.. tbh I prefer the p6 design if both phones were naked.. but with the case on I prefer the p7..
