Just arrived today. Not bad, sound quality is good but ANC still lose to Jabra. And why does it take 10,000 years to update firmware?

Hahaha the firmware update is quite wonky... Firstly, u cant exit that "Updating Firmware" screen, once exit, progress will totally stop and need to start all over. Secondly, it takes damn long

My buds pro update doesn't seem to work thought, always ends up being interrupted for no reason and having to restart again. Did this happen to anyone else?

Don't touch it when it update. Don't attempt to do other things on your phone when it is updating. Jus ensure phone screen doesnt dim and let the update complete

Actually this Google buds pro is not the only one that has this issue. For Sony theirs also take damn long to transfer the update to the earbuds. And the update can run in background. But the moment u accidentally close it. Omgwtfbbq

On arrival the firmware was "release xx 1.5".

Mine no longer gives the interrupted update error, but it has been about 30mins since the progress bar stop moving (near 100%).

Give and take 10mins. what I do is screen timeout 30 mins. then let buds d/l near phone w/o interrupting
