So my order was:

Suggest you head to a physical store to play around with the phone if you haven't. I got the non-Pro version after molesting them at Challenger. Realised I missed having a smaller phone (my current OP8P is same size as P7P). Also prefer the matte finish on P7 (though won't make a diff once put on casing)

I already have. I think at first glance and hands on, people would always prefer the pro version, since it has slimmer bezels, larger screen and higher refresh rate. But day to day use is another experience altogether, I used the mi 11 ultra before and found it big and not so convenient for 1 handed use.

Looks easy. I used WSD on my previous Pixel 2 XL. I encountered no problems or obstacles at all. I religiously followed the instructions. It was a breeze for me.

However, a friend of mine made a mess of it and vouched to not DIY any WSD or any other UV Glue typed screen protector any more! Not too sure what went wrong for him, but we all know this guy always ask for advice and then do the exact opposite of the advice.
