Wow, my update took 2 hrs, I did not touch the phone at all, just occasionally check if it's done. And very strangely, while updating, the fingerprint issue seems to be resolved. My scans were getting cleared everytime Will monitor the next few hrs after the reboot.

My fingerprint scan issue persisted. Angry, today knocked off came home, try without screen protector (spigen), re-scan and use, looks okay the first 15 mins, left the phone alone for 30+ mins and came back, finger print fails again. Tried last resort, factory reset with no screen protector, scan works fine and all, then left for 30mins alone, came back and prints not working well again. Feels like a bug more than sensor problem, but I'm not sure. Gonna open ticket with amazon to see if I can still return it.. I have so much accessories bought for it, not sure if I should give it another try.

Maybe a faulty set? Honestly, I don't have much of an issue and I'm using a cheap TG screen protector. Of course compared to my previous Huawei P30 Pro, I don't think it's as fast.

sounds like a lemon set to me.
had 0 issues on mine even on wsd turn on/off sp mode.

Sounds like the same issue which I had with my first set of Pixel 7. I managed to successfully RMAed through Amazon. The second set was a world of difference although still not 100%. Hopefully your RMA process will be seamless like mine.

Is it the normal P7(not pro)?

I have 2x P7P, both registered fingerprint before pasting screen protector, after pasting ringke TPU film, my fingerprint still work and don't even need to re-register.

Don't seems to be able to find any ppl discussing about wireless charger car stand for P7P. Any driver here? Which wireless charger car stand do you guys use? Saw there is a Xiaomi 20W wireless car stand online but it is not the magnetic type.... prefer magnetic as it is very easy to mount n dismount.
