Most of the time NFC card suddenly stopped working is because it reached max number of "taps". Can't remember the limit was 1024 or 2048 for each virtual card. Solution is to delete card and add back into your GPay wallet.

Not sure if this is your issue

Happened to me also. I readd my card in Gpay then OK liao. Weird.
