Could be everyone using different screen brightness and different color mode.

It does looks like smoky black to me kind of blur dark black

I wonder why until now no Android phone's screen brightness adjustment is as good as iPhone. The Pixel 7 Pro like all other Androids have disappointing auto-brightness while the iPhone manages to get it right every single time after I adjust. The P7Pro still too bright or too dark the screen even after constant adjustment.

The setting will learn one, my understanding is that it will get better within after a week.

Could anyone give some feedback on the Pixel 7 and apps that need fingerprint or face recognition to unlock (such as banking apps)? Thinking of changing from iPhone 14 Pro but the last time I used Android was Pixel 4 and I recall some apps worked and some didn't with face recognition. Are there any such issues with the Pixel 7?

Also would Amazon.sg be the current best deal to buy one? Thanks.

The facial recognition app on the P7Pro is not the secured type, so I don't think bank apps will support it.

Facial recognition can only be use for unlocking phone, all apps still require fingerprint to log in.

Really? I only remembered OCBC added a face icon but it never worked...
it frustrated me so much I already switched phone...mandatory face mask is the final nail...
