Hi guys, I bought G7 Pixel Pro 256gb. I have noticed that on the top right hand corner of the screen, there's a stain like spot defect observed. You won't notice it if not under bright light. The screen works fine though the spot beneath it is annoying.

I went to the service center for replacement. Unfortunately, subsequent two set of replacement phone also has same issue.

The repair guy removed the screen and showed me what was behind the screen. Apparently, there's a metal clip attached to the screen to remove static charge. That results in a stain like spot when the clip is excessively forced toward the screen. This is a design flaw and the repair center will feedback to Google.

I suggest everyone to check your phone and report to Google if there's such issue. I'm not sure what to do next. I will bear with it for a while and decide next course of action.

Will it pass my testing with flying colours? Will fingerprint reader work? View attachment 36129
Ok, verdict, it's trash, don't waste your hard earned money. It's not as smooth as tempered glass, not easy to apply, doesn't feel as good as tempered glass. Waste my money. Will use and hunt for a better quality tempered glass.

that the problem with curved screen i so sian about.. end up only can get those cure uv type screen pro.. that cost over 50
After that one time I install one of these cured glue one, then 2 months later my Samsung phone had problem, send to service center replace mobo, screen protector gone, down the drain. Ever since then I never bother to install expensive ones.

Think Shopee/Decathlon got some is the 4 rubber bands kiap the 4 corners kind. This phone the volume key is really right smack in the middle for some reason
Thanks for sharing.

That could be an interesting option. I am also looking at the P7P Quad Lock case with handlebar adaptor. Just concern that the case will not work with our curved hydrogel or uv tempered glass screen protector.

thought these kind of thing is computer generated one ma.. should not be too long.. i think...
The center that is handling the voucher is a center that handles redemptions, I think you most likely dealt with the company at some random ulu place to collect your free gift one. They work with many big brands like Canon, HP, Starhub, etc.

I really wonder why need an external party to handle redemptions?

So their liability lesser if anything goes wrong?

Most likely they don't feel like using their own manpower to handle redemptions. The Google store on shopee is most likely just a 3rd party contractor handling it, not Google themselves. Google pay the company to take care.

Jialat still can gpay on bus.
Still show invalid card.
Delete all cards in the wallet, uninstall and install back GPay, add back 1 usual card I always use but still invalid.
Could it be faulty hp?
Can you try NFC payments at stores? Invalid card is on the transitlink device?

I sort of remember ORO Redemption Center. They have been a long time center for redemptions....10 years ago I was working near their office there and I remember they handle redemptions alot.

Another leak corroborates existence of Pixel Ultra but says it'll have a 1-inch sensor
