May I know how long does it takes to complete the update? My attempt is already at 30 mins and I am still at 2/5.

Seamless updates take very long one. Prefer Samsung style, download and install and 5 mins settle.

Good to know it's normal. Initially thought there is something wrong as the download size is only 26mb. As of now, I am only halfway through.:cry:

Jus use ur phone normally lor. It will prompt u to reboot when done.

Google update is not intrusive. Meaning they allocate the least amount of cpu power for this task and prioritise the smoothness and overall usability of the phone, hence it takes a long time to install

The seemless installation really too long. I like it that it is running in background. Allowing you to use the phone while updating. But the drawback it takes up more power. I left house with 100% 1hr 10mins later it finished with the update. I'm left with 85%. It's just not efficient enough IMHO.

And I run into an issue when the seemless update was doing a self installation of the security update. I couldnt make any payments at that point of time. I got to fork out cash payments instead.

I guess if wanna do updates best do it during silent hours then.

btw just to get confirmation from you guys - the only places to get Whitestone Dome (the one with 2x TGP and 1x camera film protector) in SG are casefactorie (@ Bras Basah) and Mobilestop (@ Yishun), right?

If got other places to get, please share share.

Actually that's because you gan chiong requested the update manually right? Haha cause Google's idea is that the software downloads itself automatically when you're sleeping and when you wake up, there's an update ready to be installed once you restart the phone.

But yes, I know Google takes ages to push out the updates.......

Not say Kan chiong per say. Just didn't know the caveats of it. Till I really did it today then I realised lol. Oh well.
