Amazon sent me a replacement and indeed my first set had issues with the fingerprint. The 2nd set felt so much better. There are some misses still, but acceptable range. Finally fully migrated to P7 after testing it for the last 5 days

Yes, i bought from them before, same as you, I chose the cheapest shipping options and to my surprise, it arrived faster than I expected, about 2 week ish.

Didn't have to show any evidence (but I took a few videos of the issues just in case they ask later), the replacement function on amazon wasn't working, had to open a chat with the CSO and told him the issue and he promptly send a replacement that arrived in 2 days and a ninja guy to come collect the initial set 2 days later.

Initially mine as well but after few weeks and updates it's burning lesser. Some say it's software customisation to your needs and some say it's voodoo

I thought so too but it's been a week since the Dec update, not sure why idle drain is so high overnight when it's doing nothing. No apps running in the background, no WiFi, no Bluetooth no location

I just full blast everything and let it settle. Indeed my battery last longer somehow. Last night I charge to 96% then wake up with 89%

and the pixel bud pro too. coz can get lower than $149 if you know where to find.

buds pro below $149 sounds like a good deal. I'm using the foc buds A, but I find the sound very soft, can't hear much while on trains too. probably will go back to my creative v3 or spend and try the buds pro.

If it's a new phone, let adaptive battery do its thing.
if you have running the phone for some time and have inferior standby to Oppo, take a look at this ranking for phones that actively kill apps in the background. That's how most of this brands get their "great" battery life.

China phones/OS battery management tends to be more intensive.

For those who have been using P7 or P7P for two months now... I believe adaptive battery would have kicked in for some time already. Just wondering what their sentiments are like.

I don't suffer from any apps kill issues for my oppo phone... so not sure what's the concern actually.

But given that pixels already don't enjoy fast charging like oppo, if the battery drain is so bad, it's really a 'double whammy'. Hopefully those who have been using for 2 months already can give an objective review, cos I'm actually quite keen on P7 series
